ChristBay is our devotional app for Protestant Christians seeking a quiet, private space for daily scripture and reflection. It's built the same way we run our studio: carefully, honestly, and with respect for the people who use it.

Open ChristBay on your new device and tap Settings → Restore Purchases. Make sure you're signed into the same Apple ID that made the original purchase. Reflections from your App purchase, Blessed upgrade, and any Top-Up Packs will be restored via Apple's StoreKit. If restoration fails, contact us at hello@oakdev.app with your Apple transaction ID.
First try tapping Settings → Restore Purchases in the App — this re-verifies your purchases with Apple and can correct balance discrepancies. If the balance still looks wrong after restoring, email us at hello@oakdev.app with your Apple transaction ID and we'll investigate manually.
All refunds are handled by Apple — we don't process them directly. Visit reportaproblem.apple.com, sign in with your Apple ID, find the ChristBay purchase, and select "I'd like to request a refund". If you believe you have a legal right to a refund under Swedish or EU consumer law, email us and we'll be happy to assist.
Email us at hello@oakdev.app with your iPhone model, iOS version, ChristBay version (visible in Settings → About), and a description of what you were doing when the crash occurred. Screenshots or screen recordings are always helpful. We treat crash reports seriously and aim to ship a fix in the next update.
Blessed is a one-time in-app purchase — no subscription, no auto-renewal. It unlocks additional content categories and features, and adds 300 Reflections to your balance. You pay once and keep access permanently. There are no hidden recurring charges.
You can delete all local data instantly from within the App via Settings → Privacy → Delete Account & Data. For full deletion of any server-side data, visit our Delete Account page or email hello@oakdev.app with the subject "Account Deletion Request". We'll confirm deletion within 30 days as required by GDPR.
Yes, completely. Your journal entries are stored locally on your device only. We never access, read, or process the content of your journal. Your entries are not sent to our servers, not used to train AI models, and not used for any purpose whatsoever other than displaying them back to you. See our Privacy Policy for full details.
Check that notifications are enabled in two places: (1) iPhone Settings → Notifications → ChristBay — ensure "Allow Notifications" is on; (2) Within the App at Settings → Notifications — confirm your reminder time is set. If notifications are enabled in both places but still not arriving, try toggling them off and on again in iPhone Settings, then restart the App. If the issue persists, email us.
